sige lang kog bagotgot ug reklamo sa kahimtang nato karon pero wala nako huna-huna-a kun naa ba koy gibuhat aron mabag-o kini.
we had our family bonding last saturday. the last summer escapade with cousins. we really had fun, place was so tempting. no one can resist the clear water and the white sand. we had our own version of snorkeling and we rode on the clear boat, seeing the coral reefs and fishes was so refreshing and we realized that we should take care of our environment especially or beaches. it was far from our city but our time was worthy. unwining makes us relax with our busy schedules and time to bond with the kids. there were crying moments, remembering the past particularly the hardships and pain we had. we're looking forward to our next bonding time.
Marriage is not a noun; it's a verb. It isn't something you get. It's something you do. It's the way you love your partner every day. Barbara De Angelis
my first cousin bea, texted me asking for my help for her wedding day. we were surprised for she didn't inform us that her wedding day is already happening in just two weeks. OMG?! i was really pressured for she has lots of demands.
then i remembered my wedding day, i was a little bit lucky for we hired an organizer but still we we were not fully satisfied w/his services. if only i could turn back the time, i'd rather had a simple and solemn wedding. only close families and friends are invited. ours was a little bit annoying especially in the reception area, so many gate crashers.
being an wedding organizer is not an easy task particularly if you're still a beginner but it was a fun. now, i'm planning to become one (hehehehehehehehe). i think i'll be in my best?!
we visited various boutiques for her wedding gowns, printing shops for her invitations and giveaways. churches for her church decorations but one thing i really didnt like was their reception. it was a little bit hassle for us because they decided to have their reception at my lola's hauz. well, it was their wedding, not mine. but still it turned out well.
NOTE TO GOD by CHARICE PEMPENGCO is my favorite song right now. Her voice is very powerful, this song is really intended for her. she made OPRAH cry with a standing ovation from americans. i've watched her performances when she was a contestant in Sang Linggo Napo Sila way back. i'm an avid fan since then and i didn't expect that she will become an international star. dreams do really come true. congrats to her. and again, i'm proud to be PINOY...
"Note To God" If I wrote a note to God I would speak whats in my soul I'd ask for all the hate to be swept away, For love to overflow If I wrote a note to God I'd pour my heart out on each page I'd ask for war to end For peace to mend this world I'd say, I'd say, I'd say Give us the strength to make it through Help us find love cause love is over due And it looks like we haven't got a clue Need some help from you Grant us the faith to carry on Give us hope when it seems all hope is gone Cause it seems like so much is goin wrong On this road we're on If I wrote a note to God I would say what on my mind I'd ask for wisdom to let compassion rule this world Until these times If I wrote a note to God I'd say please help us find our way End all the bitterness, put some tenderness in our hearts And I'd say, I'd say, I'd say Give us the strength to make it through Help us find love cause love is over due And it looks like we haven't got a clue Need some help from you Grant us the faith to carry on Give us hope when it seems all hope is gone Cause it seems like so much is goin wrong On this road we're on No, no no no We can't do this on our own So Give us the strength to make it through Help us find love cause love is over due And it looks like we haven't got a clue Need some help from you Grant us the faith to carry on Give us hope when it seems all hope is gone Cause it seems like so much is goin wrong On this road we're on
we're very curious about being a boiler operator so we googled it. and this is what we got:
Operates automatically fired boilers to generate steam that supplies heat or power for buildings or industrial processes: Lights gas- or oil-fed burners, using torch. Starts pulverizer and stoker to grind and feed coal into furnace of boiler. Observes pressure, temperature, and draft meters on panel to verify specified operation of automatic combustion control systems, feed water regulators, stoker, pulverizer, and burners. Turns valves and adjusts controls to set specified fuel feed, draft openings, water level, and steam pressure of boiler. Observes boiler and auxiliary units to detect malfunctions and makes repairs, such as changing burners and tightening pipes and fittings. May test and treat boiler feed water, using specified chemicals. May maintain log of meter and gauge readings and record data, such as water test results and quantity of fuel consumed. May be designated according to fuel burned, type of boilers, or class of license required.
What is dangerous about this job?
-Boilers work at a high heat adjacent to pressurized vessels which put their operators at a risk of burns and explosions. -Burning of fuel used in boilers may lead to fires, carbon monoxide poisoning, etc. -Boiler operators come into contact with various substances used in boilers (fuel, water additives, etc.) which may lead to eye and skin disorders. -Boiler operators work in a noisy, hot and humid environment that may cause tiredness and general ill-feeling.
hubby will really have a hard time but i know he can make it... AJA da?! for our future.
we've been waiting for this since January. we just receive a good news that hubby will be leaving next week for Manila for his medical check-up. at last, he'll have a good job as a boiler operator. we both know that this will be a new life for our family but we're hoping that everything we'll be alright. sacrificing for our family is a very hard task, being away from the kids is not easy. for sure, he'll be crying out loud for his first few weeks but i do believe that he can adjust especially with the technology now.
FINALLY...

It's a privilege to be a mother. Motherhood is the greatest blessing any woman can be blessed with. Motherhood is a symbol of love, kindness and forgiveness. A mother's touch is the first human touch in a child's life. A mother's heart is filled with a never-exhausting love for her children. She lives and dies for them.
A mother is the most beautiful woman in the child's eyes. It is a mother's love, pure and unadulterated, which nourishes a child and helps him to see and understand the cruel and the harsh world where he is destined to spend the rest of his life. Only a mother knows how it feels to be a mother.
Mothers shoulder a huge responsibility of instilling the good and the bad in her child's heart. Being a mother is tough. A mother's every action and word is under the deepest scrutiny and therefore she is always over cautious of her conduct.
A Mother's Love by Carol Matthews
A Mother loves right from the start. She holds her baby close to her heart. The bond that grows will never falter. Her love is so strong it will never alter.
A Mother gives never ending love. She never feels that she has given enough. For you she will always do her best. Constantly working, there's no time to rest.
A Mother is there when things go wrong. A hug and a kiss to help us along. Always there when we need her near. Gently wipes our eyes when we shed a tear.
So on this day shower your Mother with Love. Gifts and presents are nice but that is not enough. Give your Mother a day to have some peace of mind. Be gentle, be good, be helpful, be kind.
Mom, I look at you and see a walking miracle. Your unfailing love without limit, your ability to soothe my every hurt, the way you are on duty, unselfishly, every hour, every day, makes me so grateful that I am yours, and you are mine.
With open arms and open heart, with enduring patience and inner strength, you gave so much for me, sometimes at your expense.
You are my teacher, my comforter, my encourager, appreciating all, forgiving all.
Sometimes I took you for granted, Mom, but I don’t now, and I never will again. I know that everything I am today relates to you and your loving care.
I gaze in wonder as I watch you being you— my miracle, my mother.
this was the scene last sunday at cogon mkt atrium. it was for free, live and no adverstisements. it was sponsored by CDOC government officials.
before the fight somebody offered us a deal that if HATTON stand still until round 5, he wins with a pot money of 7,000.00 but we didn't take it for we were doubtful. sayang?!
everyone was very attentive and shouting when HATTON was knocked down by PACQUIAO. it was a mismatch and not a good one. we were really expecting that it will be a nice one but we were disappointed by HATTON's performance. he was strong but very aggressive and he has no trick compared to our MANNY.
MANNY is not a good in english but very smart when it comes to his fights. we're very proud to be PINOY because of you MANNY.
i'm very busy right now. i'm managing 3 businesses right now + taking care of kidz and our home + free education from ALS-DEPED (culinary and cosmetology) + 2 months F & B tesda training.
i'm one of Pres. Gloria Scholars curretly enrolled in Food and Beverage Services at VIPC (Vineyard International Polytechnic College), located at Mabulay Street CDOC. at first, i'm not comfortable with my classmates but i was able to cope up with them especially when we had our table skirting and cooking. we had enough time to bond with each other. i'll share our pictures later.
that is why i don't have enough time for movies, kapamilya teleserye and internet.
i'm planning to enrol in a gym class this summer. i always wanted to slim down, i gained a lot of weight when i gave birth to our 3 litol cute boys. i haven't slim down since then. when i was still single i look like the woman here in the picture. hehehehehe. not exactly but i was really skinny before.
i really have to lose some fats especially in my stomach part. hopefully will look like her. sexy hotta mama??!!
i will really do my best to achieve it. go!go!go!go!
i'm really enjoying this right now. it was introduced to me a month ago by my friend cathy. a little info about it by the website itself:
What is Plurk?
Noun. plurk (plüer-kh) - A really snazzy site that allows you to showcase the events that make up your life in deliciously digestible chunks. Low in fat, 5 calories per serving, yet chock full of goodness.
Verb. plurk (plüer-kh) - To chronicle the events of your always on, action-packed, storybook, semi-charmed kinda life.
so what are you waiting for. join us, enjoy and have fun????!!!!
November 2008, we decided to stop our business due mismanaging. we just stayed at home and rested. until my aunt arrived and asked for our help. she wanted a business for she was a bit tired of her work abroad. she wanted to stay for a while here in the Philippines. she invested and i'm in-charge.
my work is not that easy. i have to wake up as early as 2 am to pay for the product (malasugi) in bulua fish landing area. at first, i really had a hard time adjusting but i was able to manage it for it was my work before. i have to do all the calculations and check everything. i also have my own business (my delivery-XAVIER SPORTS), I've been supplying their veggies, fruits, sea foods, fishes for almost 4 years. i have to assist my laborer at cogon mkt til 12 noon. i just have 1-4pm as my resting period, time for my family and during Monday, i have a culinary class and Saturday, a cosmetology class sponsored by DEPED. and i think this June, i'll start my food and beverage class at Vineyard Polytechnic College. another opportunity of learning supported by President Arroyo. I've passed the Tesda exam 3 weeks ago, it is a test whether i am qualified for the scholarship or not. right now, i'm enjoying the breaks the BRO is offering me.
everybody knows that i'm the only one who's working. my hubby is just staying at home, watching our kidz or playing basketball. that's why we're really asking BRO to grant our request. my hubby is waiting for a call for Saudi. we know that BRO will help us in HIS time and will. we do trust and have faith in HIM.
Yes, it would be hard for us living and working separately but this is a very good opportuniy for all of us especially for our kids. we have plans for a brighter future and we need to sacrifice so we can achieve it. there are really times that things don't go the way we want to but BRO has good reasons for letting everything happen. BRO said, just believe and it will happen?! again in HIS time and will...
this is our new business venture. we started this three weeks ago. this is a corpo between meemyselfmyat and my aunt. we're buying this stuff (pants, shorts, pedals, blouses and now new addition are bags) in a wholesale price from the taiwanese-chinese community in cogon mkt. then we're selling it to the tideras-tinderos of cogon mkt particularly in the fish section area. they're paying it daily for a month because it would be easier for them then to pay it fully. at first i was really doubtful if this would click, fortunately, it did. it made me realize that clothes is absolutely a basic need next to food(of course). even though we're having global crisis, still, we have a budget for apparels.
i'm so curios about sepsis. i've encountered this word several times already. 1st was when Mariana Bridi da Costa, a brazilian model whose feet and hands were amputated before she died. 2nd was when our own King of Rap passed away last week. so i decided to gather more informations to understand everything. and this is what i got:
according to http://www.emedicinehealth.com
Sepsis is a condition in which the body is fighting a severe infection that has spread via the bloodstream. If a patient becomes "septic," they will likely be in a state of low blood pressure termed "shock." This condition can develop either as a result of the body's own defense system or from toxic substances made by the infecting agent (such as a bacteria, virus, or fungus).
People at risk for sepsis
* People whose immune systems (the body's defense against microbes) are not functioning well because of an illness (such as cancer or AIDS) or because of medical treatments (such as chemotherapy for cancer or steroids for a number of medical conditions) that weaken the immune system are more prone to develop sepsis. It is important to remember that even healthy people can suffer from sepsis.
* Because their immune systems are not completely developed, very young babies may get sepsis if they become infected and are not treated in a timely manner. Often, if they develop signs of an infection such as fever, infants have to receive antibiotics and be admitted to the hospital. Sepsis in the very young is often more difficult to diagnose because the typical signs of sepsis (fever, change in behavior) may not be present or may be more difficult to ascertain.
* The elderly population, especially those with other medical illnesses such as diabetes, may be at increased risk as well.
The number of people dying from sepsis has almost doubled in the past 20 years. This is most likely due to the increased number of patients who suffer from sepsis.
* There has been a large increase in sepsis because doctors have started treating cancer patients and organ transplant patients, among others, with strong medications that weaken the immune system.
* Also, because of our aging population, the number of elderly people with weak immune systems has grown.
* Finally, because of the increased and often inappropriate use of antibiotics to treat illnesses caused by viruses and not bacteria, many strains of bacteria have become resistant to antibiotics, making the treatment of sepsis more difficult in some cases.

this is our own version of topiary flower arrangement. we had this before the cooking session. we had table skirting too but i i think i can't share it, for i don't have the procedures and don't have any pictures during that session. it was quite interesting, we had a hard time skirting the long table at school. we were really sweating. too bad, time was very short to learn everything.
